SIRES
At Roeder Ranch, our goal is to raise sires that are highly competitive in the show ring and then return home to the ranch to produce daughters and sons that are just as competitive and consistent generation after generation. These rams are the cornerstone of our program, representing not only the genetic progress made over the past 20 years, but also the legacy of proven sires that came before them. Built on generations of intentional selection, they reflect our commitment to structure, muscle, maternal strength, and longevity, traits that matter both in the show ring and in real-world production. If you’re interested in incorporating proven Roeder genetics into your flock through breeding or semen purchases, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’d be glad to visit with you about how these sires can add to your program and help build the next generation. Be sure to check out some of these sires below and see firsthand the genetics that continue to move our program forward.

E 111
E111 was named Supreme Champion Ram at the 2024 Houston Open Show, and his influence is already being felt. We only bred him to a handful of ewes last year, and the results speak for themselves. One of those lambs was the wether Brodie showed at San Angelo, who went on to be named Champion both there and at The Grandstand. Another stayed a ram, Micron, Brodie campaigned him all year, and he was the Supreme Champion Ram at The Grandstand and was named Reserve National Champion Ram.
Needless to say, E111 got used a whole lot more this year.
He’s sired by C50, a ram who also made his mark in the show ring, being named Supreme Champion Ram at Dallas. On the maternal side, E111 is out of C034—a twin sister to a ewe we call “Red Tag.” Both of these females trace back to some of the most foundational ewes in our program.

Micron
Micron—a ram some of y’all will definitely recognize—was the ram Brodie showed all year long. He had an impressive run in 2025, earning titles as Supreme Champion Ram at The Grandstand and Reserve National Champion Ram.
He’s sired by E111 (yes, we’re offering semen on him too), who was Supreme Champion Ram at the 2024 Houston Open Show. E111 also sired the Champion Wether at both The Grandstand and San Angelo, making it clear that consistency runs deep in this line.
Micron was bred to a handful of ewes this past season, and we’re already seeing exciting results. Some of those lambs have landed in Brodie’s show wether pen, while others have made their way into our keeper ewe group. We can’t wait to see how they perform through the show season
